TD Children’s Book Week in Alberta

Canadian authors and illustrators are meeting with readers all across the country. I’m about half way through meeting with 18 groups of kids from Kindergarten right up to Grade 12 in Calgary and in Lethbridge and area, hoping to inspire them to read more and to write, too. These enthusiastic audiences inspire me to keep writing, too.

What lucky kids, to have you visit their schools! I'm sure your words were very inspiring.

Thanks for that thought, Janet. Here's a link to an article describing one of my visits. The journalist did a very good job of capturing it, I think.

Nice! It reminded me of the times I've heard you speak at libraries in Hamilton. I hope I get that opportunity again some day!

I hope so too, Janet. It's been a while since I've visited Hamilton libraries.
