Writing by the Sea Again
It won’t be long now before I’m writing by the sea again, in the fish house that inspired me last year to set up my “fish house” in the furnace room back home in Ontario.
I wonder which of the writers attending our Seaside Workshop/Retreat this year will find the magic that can happen when writing there – or in other outbuildings on Nova Scotia’s south shore, or even inside the farmhouse where they’ll be staying, and where the afternoon workshops and lively dinnertime conversations will take place.
Where’s your favourite place to write?

Well, looking out that window is one of my fav places:)
And looking at the water anywhere seems to help me get deeply into my writing. Jill, Jackie, Marcia and I will be at the Joli House again from Sept. 27th until Oct. 4th, if you're passing by… Hope you and Peter are well.
Anywhere I can banish the cares of the world. Port Joli was wonderful. Maybe I'll come again next year.
I too hope you and Peter are happy and healthy. Big hugs.
Banishing cares is good, unless you're using them to feed your work. Nice to know you'd think of applying again – with your short stories perhaps because the novel will be finished and submitted by then, right? Hugs backatcha, Rob.
Maybe THIS year Peter and I will get over to drop in on you. We've thought of you all this week, of course, as we work on being ready for this year's workshop participants. Hope your (in the plural) writing goes well whatever windows you find yourselves near.
