“This Book Made Me”

Isn’t it fun to find out which books a writer says contributed to making them the writer, and the person, they are? It was fun for me to reflect on that question when the 49th Shelf invited me to contribute a piece to their series, This Book Made Me soon after the publication of Boogy & Tee and Twinkle & Hew. True confession: I couldn’t choose just one.
If you’re interested in how my books and I contributed to a young mother’s development as a writer some years ago, you’ll want to listen to Tara Ross’s podcast interview with me on Hope Prose, “Recovering the Joy of Creation.”
Happy reading and happy listening!
