Reviews

A joyous celebration of all bodies. Illustrations show a tremendously diverse array of bodies. Each page shows people smiling, and there are unique depictions of loving families and connections. The extremely simple text introducing basic body parts, combined with kid-friendly yet sophisticated illustrations, allows for all different kinds of children to see themselves and their communities reflected. A beautiful and important addition to any collection of body books.

STARRED Kirkus Review

When so many other books that claim to be diverse have at most one person with any given diversity marker (e.g., the one token kid in the wheelchair or with a hijab), seeing these multiple depictions feels wonderful and affirming. No matter what your body is like or what you wear on it, you’re not alone.

The new edition… is current, engaging and offers a safe space for parents, caregivers, and educators to talk about human beings and their bodies. Highly Recommended.

CM Magazine

I was impressed by the diversity of physical traits and implied attributes of religion, culture, gender expression and relationships rarely seen in children's books but integral in our beautifully-varied world.
