Hope & the Highway of Heroes

How apt that the student assigned to introduce me and Highway of Heroes at the Hackmatack ceremony in Moncton in April was a girl named HOPE. The phenomenon of Canadians lining the bridges over the highway whenever a fallen soldier makes the journey is a comfort to the families who travel with them, but we certainly all HOPE that no more journeys like those that inspired the Highway of Heroes phenomenon will have to be made. Thanks, Hope, for your nice introduction.
